Clothes to fit over cloth nappies - 2-3 year old?

Frugi stop at 2 - eek!

Need trousers for DS. He has short legs anyway so putting larger size normal trousers on him looks daft.

I've seen Bright Bots do this size, anyone else?

Anyone got a sewing pattern?

Frugi go up to age 6 now!

But I think only the 0-2 clothes are actually cut for cloth, iyswim.

Larger sized cropped trousers. We get a lot of use out of those ones that roll and button up! Or jogging bottoms...

I did tend to find that the cut of trousers seems to change once you get to 2 - they don't seem to allow for any nappy at all, and get really long. DS has got short legs too, so he's usually sporting roll ups.

get age 3 ones that are meant to roll up into crops - Next usu do a few eg here

then if you need to you can move the button that holds the tab up so they are the right lengeth

dd wore age 2-3s rolled up from about 18m, just moved the buttons a few times

NB ones with adjustable waists are best but the catalogue doesn't say so look in the flesh.

Think I'll pop to Next tomorrow.

I find that even after 2 Frugi's trousers are cut pretty generously and will still fit over a cloth nappy unless your child is at the top end of the clothing size. The rise in all there trousers is much deeper than most high street stores so covers cloth nappies better.

Failing that I always found that ds1 (who was on the 98th centile for height and 75th for weight - so bigger than average) could fit into sainsbury's TU clothing in cloth in the right size for his age IYSWIM.
