When did you DC start PlaySchool?

How old were you DC when they started Playgroup and for how many hours and when did you start leaving them there and how many times a week? DS is 2.2 and we're going tomorrow for the first time. They have a 2 x a week minimum and it's about 3 hours. Just wanted to hear others experiences.

My DS started at a pre-school when he was 2.4. He started with 2 sessions of 3 hours. I left him there straight away; on his first day he walked off happily with his keyworker so I quickly headed off. He was absolutely fine.

Curiously, he started getting clingy around 6 months later after the long summer holidays and he was miserable there in the September to October. Things got slightly better but he then got ill and things didn't pick up again until January this year! He loves it there again, and I believe part of it is to do with the fact that I have increased his sessions.
