Advice please on DC coming into my bed at night

We've sort of fallen into this habit sice exH left.

At any point between 2 - 4am both DC will wake up and get into my bed.

I actually like it and don't mind but I'm thinking it's a bad habit and shopuld maybe try to stop them.

Another factor is things are going very very well with my new boy and whilst it will be ages before he stays here overnight it is something I need to think about too.

What do you all think, and any tips to break the habit?

My ds is 9 he still pops in for 5 minutes .....

All our ds have come to our bed if theyve felt the need even ds2 who is 14 when hes ill he comes in our bed ....

Having said that ds1 was 14 woke up ill dh got up early for work and found ds1 poorly and told him to get in our bed .....I woke up as normal knew dh should be at work and in a moment of madness believed ds1 was a burgular and started whacking him with a lavender cushion.

Poor concussed ds1 hasnt really come in since .
