My little one is going to be on the move soon so my thoughts have turned to child proofing the home.
I'm really concerned about our large flat screen TV being a safety hazard as I have recently read several horror stories about them toppling over .
We have ours free-standing on a wide glass TV stand which is specifically designed to hold a TV of this weight. However, new advice states that they should also strapped down securely. I have researched online as to where I can buy these straps and it seems they are only available in the US where earthquakes are a common occurence. We can't fix the TV to the wall as we live in a rented property.
Anybody have any ideas or advice about where I could obtain these straps? What does everyone else do?
