Unknown Valentines: Fun or Freaky?

There are some who go full-on with Valentines for all the right reasons - bit of fun and nothing harmful. However I had some experiences which left me loathing Valentine's from the "?" brigade as I found it really creepy. (The below happened a few years back)

I had a huge bunch of roses delivered to my place of work one year that came with a ? and it wasn't my DH. It was freaky and the lot went straight into the bin.

4 Valentine's cards on the same day with similar handwriting and ? found in various places - work, car, letter box etc. It wasn't DH.

Lipstick kisses "x" and ? all over my wing-mirror with a love heart. DH was working away.

In my mind I suppose I'm trying to work out who it could be - hoping for a young, great-looking hunk, 6-pack and would have probably discovered the fantasist an old pervert with a 6-pack of brew and smells...

I still have a feeling that Valentines is an invite to Stalkers free-for-all - Urgh!

Anyone else get freaked by Valentine's

Yup, got one in my in-tray Friday from a subordinate - recognised his writing. Aside from the fact he's about twelve , he knows I'm married with kids.

I also have an emailer who keeps sending me 'I saw you today' messages, which is just boaksome. I know it's someone having a laugh so I don't worry about it but were I living alone I may not find it so funny
