Hair cut

My DD is 15 months - her hair is very much in her eyes- I really need to cut it but have tried and found it v difficult. I've tried several times to do it during the day ( sometimes trying to distract her by watching TV/ eating food). But no we've had no joy - she just screams and wriggles like crazy. I thought it might be easier when she is asleep (we've managed to cut her nails this way when she was smaller), but just tried it and her hair flops back so its impossible to tell where to cut- don't want to poke around too much as she can be a night mare to get back to sleep. Any one got any good hair cutting tips ????!!!!

Can you take her to the hairdressers with you ? I found my DS loved the attention he got and was quite happy to sit in the big chair. My hairdresser was lovely and if I was getting my hair cut at the same time he didn't charge any extra !
