... or does the novelty wear off after a few days?!

My 4 and 5 yo asked Santa for them, he got them along with the playhouse, I think they have played with them for all of 5 minutes, the house is rubbish and falls apart if they touch it, 18mo DD3 likes them though

7y DD got 3 hamsters for Christmas, and this weekend ued her saved pocket money to buy the house and a car. She is sill playing with them happily, esp when friends come round with their hamsters. Her friend has a few more accessories and still plays with hers, 7 or 8 weeks on from Christmas.

The house is not very sturdy but ours doesn't appear to come apart at all when played; neither does her friend's house.

Apparently the ball wasn't great thoughand the hamsters just fell over.

mine don't play with the house much, and they treat the hamsters more like 'normal' cuddly toys but they do love them.

A go-go hamster ate my DDs hair a couple of weeks ago. The wheels span round and sucked her hair into the motor - she had to be cut free. Luckily they were at a friend's house so we can avoid them in future.

Vicious little buggers.

Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.... I wish I knew in advance whether DD would play with them or not!
