Broken baby teeth

I've kept all my ds' baby teeth but another one of his teeth fell out recently and I noticed that the old ones I kept in a little bag are all cracked up and broken as if they've completely dried up or something. He's asked to see them, asking where does the Tooth Fairy keep them etc. when he knows the Tooth Fairy is me, but how I can I show him these pathetic fragments of little bone?! I thought I was being so good keeping them for him! (How annoying!)

aaw bless how annoying.
I would use it as a 'science lesson'. Show him how wonderful and lucky he is to have a mummy who loves him so much that shes kept all of his teeth.
Then turn the conversation to ask him why he thinks the teeth have all broken up (do a few mins research first as I have no idea why its happened!)
Also you could turn the conversation round to something he's really interested in, sharks, dinosaurs etc and talk abnout their teeth.
Just an idea
Do let me know how it goes! xxx

Thanks, I'll try that (I loved your comment

!!). He hasn't asked again since I posted this so I'll see if I can hold off the 'science lesson' a while longer - at least long enough to find out why it happened! Good idea!
