What's gone wrong with my BG?

I have some Bumgenius v3 (and a couple of v2s) which were great for my ds1 right up to when he potty-trained at 2.6.

My six-month-old, however, has been weeing right through them in 2-3 hours, no matter what size I popper them to. I've been putting the Bumgenius insert in, plus a Bumbles booster, and he soaks the lot. After attempt no.6 today (with the 6th leak) I am a bit stumped. I don't think I can boost it any more without turning him into the Michelin Man, and I don't want to be changing him every hour.

Any ideas? Am I going to have to buy new nappies? (If so, what?!) I was really hoping to get him out of disposables now that we are past the hundred-times-a-day liquid poo stage.

Try strip washing them at 60 degs with no detergent - could just have a buildup in the pocket layer or inserts.
