Help - nappies for toddlers

Hi, I'm hoping for some advice as my stock of nappies is rapidly dwindling as my toddler outgrows them. He's 20months and not big for his age, but already too big for 'the pop-in', bum genius will be next to go, wonderoos also on the way out. Have one tots bots all in one which is okish but seems to leak quite often. Best at the moment is bizarrely the Mothercare Smart Nappy which I've never been that keen on, but now seems to fit quite well and had less leakage problems than the others as doesn't give him a builders bum. He eats loads of fruit so often has runny poos so all comes out the top which is not fun (TMI sorry!). Feeling guilty as using disposables more and more as getting fed up with leaks or he complains when I put real nappies on him. Any suggestions? Many thanks

Have you tried the new Flips from Bumgenius? They're currently BOGOF at Fill Your Pants, so very cheap to get a couple to try. My little boy will be 3 next month and is around 36lbs and I was struggling to get Bumgenius pockets around him, but the Flips fit him with ease, and space still! They're a similar system to the Mothercare Smart nappies (in that they're an outer where you put something inside), but of course, since you have all sorts of inserts from your existing stash, just buying several of these covers might do the trick. Of course, runny poo would mean the outers get soiled, but I've found they have amazing containment. And very reliable too! There aren't many pockts that last on Benjamin, but these are really good. I did boost the stay-dry microfibre insert with some bamboo (because microfibre on its own is never enough for him) but these work very well indeed, and a very nice fit.

I agree with everything Rachel said. The flips are also a great fit on my boy who's 3 in 2 weeks. He's about 32lbs, and doesn't fit our Bumgenius pockets,pop-ins or Coolababy anymore.

Thanks for those replies - I haven't heard of bumgenius flips - but sound great so will look into them. Someone else mentioned Sandys so something else to look into. Very timeconsuming this nappy lark!
