My new OU course arrived today - just as I find shedloads of work to do

Which is a bit of a pain but I have to live with it

I am excited & I have read the first bit of the book - I have to write notes (which I haven't done in decades)

& it's all done on-line which should be interesting

It looks very interesting! Good luck with it. I love the OU and find it becomes so addictive!

What are you doing?

I'm doing A207: From Enlightenment to Romanticism. I'm hopefully working towards a BA English Literature. I did a Psych degree through the OU before that though. I just can't get enough

Are level 2's much harder?

I have credits from previous study so I have only done 1 level 1 (& it was only 30 pts) - so it is a bit scary

I don't think they're MUCH harder, but it is a step up in terms of workload. I found the workload to be much greater in Level 2 than Level 1.

I have started reading my book

Oh bugger

& I am totally gutted about the Tesco vouchers

Oh, Snapdragon, so am I. That was taking a good £250-300 off each course. That is a hell of a difference.

I am so cross, it's now just an incentive to start studying with them instead of help to acheive the whole lot.

That looks an interesting course, I have been doing criminology and your book four looks like it is going to cover that. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Good luck!

I have enough to pay for another 60 pt & a 30pt I think which would leave me a 60pt I would have to pay for - if I can book before May (for Nov & Feb 11)

But it means we may not be able to afford a holiday this August
