I'm so happy I cried in paediatrician's office

Some of you might remember the on going battle over my son's sickness and screaming. We got referred to paed and today she agreed it was reflux and prescribed rantidine and doper-something. Anyway at least they are doing something for him at last!

He is only 5 months bless him, and we have waited 4 months for someone to do something.

Roslily, I am so, so happy for you! I'm sure you will see an improvement soon and before you know it you will have a happy baby and you will finally be able to enjoy him.

We were lucky to get the diagnosis at 3 months old, but it was mainly because I kept going to our GP twice a week and they got completely fed up with me.

I was just saying to DP that only a couple of months ago, every night as I was falling asleep I could hear DS scream in my head, now I see his happy face

On another note, it is so bloody frustrating when you have to wait months for healthcare professionals to acknowledge your problem after it was properly diagnosed on mumsnet ages ago.

Anyway, let us know how your DS gets on with the meds. Fingers crossed for you!
