Flexitots no longer lasting more than 2 hours without leaking - help!

I've been using flexitots with a motherease airflow wrap for my ds for over a year now with no problems until recently. They've started to leak, mostly around the leg holes. When I change him the nappy is absolutely soaking and heavy, so I know it's absorbing to its limit. He's 22 months, 30lb, quite tall, but as far as I can see the nappies still fit him fine. The wraps are fairly new and fit ok too. He hasn't increased his fluid intake, but suddenly the nappies just aren't coping - used to be able to go at least 3-4 hours if no poo, but now he can barely last 2 without a leak. Does anyone have any ideas?

I would strip wash them at 60 degs with nothing added - no detergent and get some bamboo boosters to go in them.

Would stripping them make them hold more wee? They are wet all the way through when I change him.

It is known that some of the older style flexi Tots were a bad batch that slowly disintegrated in the wash. I had some and rang them, they sent me replacements straight away. Are yours going a bit thin around the bamboo velour?

I had mine replaced, one or two of the replacements are starting to thin, but rest are all good as new.

I would either have a go at potty training, or add a booster. Or check he's not filling up on 'juice' - offer milk or water instead.

Strip washing always good for them - if totally soaked then would def say a booster then.

TotsBots have a new ebay shop with clearance stuff - may get some there.
