bumbles - sell or keep?

i have a DS who's 5 months old. decided before he was born that we wanted to use cloth nappies, did some research on the various types & when he was born i bought some bumbles & wraps. started trying to use them when he was 2 months old, but the combination was just so bulky & didn't seem to hold anything in, so tried some sized nappies (diddy diapers) & smaller wraps, which were better but still not great.

anyway, had a chat with a lovely lady from a local charity that promotes the use of cloth nappies & she suggested that pocket nappies might suit us better, so i bought some bumgenius & haven't looked back!

i'll be selling on the diddy diapers & wraps when i can get round to it, & am contemplating whether to sell the bumbles too. right now the bumgenius pockets are working really well, but i realise DS is only 5 months old & that might change, so i'm wondering whether it might be worth hanging on to them.

any advice from more experienced cloth nappy users?

I would hang on to them for a while, how long does your DS sleep for at night? You will probably find that a Bumgenius will struggle to last all night as he gets older and then the Bumbles will be great.

at the moment he's in a nappy overnight for about 10 hrs & we've never had any leaks - but i'm guessing from what you're saying that that's likely to change in the future!

if i'm only likely to need them overnight i might sell 5 & keep 5
