It is very sweet.

I befriend people with older kids for this very reason.

Glass of juice and a couple of biscuits = a few hours childcare.

I know exactly what you mean. DS1, 16, is really good with younger kids. Seems to have the knack of entertaining them without being bossy or patronising, it's a joy to watch. we have several much younger nephews & nieces and they all seem to think he's quite 'cool'.
