Baptism favours for the men! Stuck!!!! Any suggestions?!?!

Only want to spend couple of pounds max but am struggling to find anything! All suggestions welcome

Baptism favours?????
I obviously go to low-rent baptisms, nobody's ever proffered me favours round the font.
What do the ladies get?

I've never heard of baptism favours!

If I'm honest, I don't like wedding favours, or party bags, or anything else that is basically buying something for the sake of it.

Is it something connected to a particular religion?

I thought the same as Lady. I have never heard of a baptism favour. Who gets them? All the men at the event?

Bottle of beer?

Another one here who has never heard of baptism favours. If they are anything like wedding favours I am in the 'don't bother' camp.

Anyway a favour to a bloke is scraping the ice off his windscreen, or taping the footie when he is out...IMHO

okay okay! have scrapped the idea and decided to keep the money for a nice bottle of wine or two for me and DH to share. Thanks Ladies .....result!!! . (just thought was the done thing but if anyone asks can just say ran a survey and no one heard of it).

Very wise, OP. I was, however, minded to google the subject and apparently a wide selection of favours is available online. I particularly liked this one.
But I still say don't do it.

Oh please no don't start baptism favours.
Weddings and birthdays are competitive enough without making baptisms a massive song and dance.
Bloody hell invite them along let them watch your baby be baptised and then give 'em a sandwich and a glass of wine and send them on their way.

OP, I think ditching the idea is very wise. I've been to a fair few baptisms, and have never heard of favours before!

Good decision OP. By the way,..can anyone ever remember a favour they received at any wedding whatsoever? I can barely remember the frocks never mind the favours!

Dear God I thought I may have committed a faux pas not offering favours at DS' baptism. It was bad enough sorting out the bloody wedding favours last year (mini bath bombs - if you are remotely interested).

Went to a wedding last year (2 weeks before my own) and we were given packets of seeds. In fact yes I do remember favours - but I don't care if I don't get one at a wedding - it's about eatin' celebratin' and dancin' innit?!

Wedding favours? My inlaws were lucky to be invited let alone get afavour.
Wish they'd dome ME the favour and not come...
