I apologise now as this has probably been disscussed a thousand times but I am soooo confused as to what to do with regards to the swine flu jab, I received the 'invitation' this morning.

My son only just turned 6 months last weekend. Have any other Mums had there 6 month olds vaccinated and if so were your babies ok?

Please help, thank you (hmm)

My daughter is almost 2 and I am not having her injected. She has had everything else, including the MMR, so I am not usually anti these things but this is a jab which has had very little testing and seems to be something the Government are trying to get through to stop people panicking.

My husband actually had suspected swine flu in October and my daughter and I didn't catch it. Yes he was pretty poorly, but like you would be with flu. The NHS website said to call our GP (I think this was because our company gave us all Tamiflu as a precaution). When he asked whether to take it or not, our GP (who I really trust) said it was up to the individual but that he wouldn't bother if it was him as it only cuts out a day of feeling ill and has side affects. Okay, that was the tablet and not the jab.

If my daughter was severely asthmatic or had other health issues I may think differently, but I have a healthy little girl so it's a risk I have to take. I couldn't live with myself if something happened as a result of having the jab.

Not sure if that helps, but just do what feels right to you. x

Could you live with yourself if she got Swine flu and died from it? Sorry to be so blunt but there are far more risks to having the flu itself to the jab. Do you honestly think the goverment and most thoughout the modern world would have a vaccination programme if it wasn't needed.

My friend has just passed away fron having Swineflu. She was very healthy. She leaves behind 3 children and family and friends that will never get over her death. I urge everyone to reconsider if thet haven't had it done.
