ASDA newborn/new arrival nappies,..Any good?

We've been using the Asda nappies for my DS (2yo) and found them really good, quite similar to pampers.

Anyway, i'm due in March with dc2 and saw the Asda 'New arrival' nappies were on 3 packs for £10 so got some.

Just wondering if anyone has used these, are they any good?

In my experience newborn nappies of any type are good- you change them so often anyway.

I got one out of the packet and they look ok, very soft...

I'm sure they will do the job, suppose I just wondered if anyone had any extreme leaking experiences etc

I found that i would have to change ds several times (sleepsuit/vest/sheets) because they weren't great at night for some reason. Maybe use them in the day and something a little stronger at night?

Ah I see, i'll bear that in mind. We used pampers last time and they seemed ok but thought i'd venture out of the safety zone this time! Ds usually wears Aldi nappies but they don't do newborn ones...

Will get a pack of pampers in 'just in case' and see how we go, thanks.

I found them to be great compared to Huggies or Pampers, DS is still in Asda ones (and they still do 3 for £10) i wished they'd been around for my 3 DD's!

Ah thanks! I suppose to a certain extent you can't really tell till you try them on your own baby. certain nappies fitted my ds better than others but others would find them no good iyswim?

Been wondering the same thing about these Asda nappies as was given 3 packs as a gift and was wondering if I should use them or freecycle them?

Dalrymps · 10/02/2010 22:59

I would give them a try if I were you, nothing to loose and the ones we use from there for our 2yo are great.
