Holiday with year old

We're hoping to book a holiday for this Summer and are thinking about going to Turkey - been a few times and loved it. Our little one will be a year old in August - we're debating whether to go in May when it will be a bit cooler but she will be 9 months old, or in the Summer when obviously it's going to be very hot but she'll be a year old. Or are we just being stupid?
Any thoughts welcome, thanks in advance!

Understand your dilema completely. I've been to Turkey in August before and it was unbearably hot...spent 2 weeks in the pool! But for a 1 year old I personally think it would be too hot. I would definately go in May whilst it's a little cooler. Also your LO won't be moving around as much at 9 months?? so will be much easier for you!

Or another possible question is, where might be nice to go in October half term? (I'm a teacher so has to be in the hols).
