Motherease wraps leaking poo on newborn

I've got diddy diaper micros and motherease airflows for DD2 - the nappies seem great but the wraps seem vast and in my two trials so far poo has just leaked straight out. She has very spindly legs and the wraps seem very loose on her legs.

DD1 is nearly two and in bumgenius and fluffles + motherease at night, the motherease have been bombproof with her!

Any ideas?

Sounds like the wraps are simply too big for her. If they are baggy around the legs they won't be able to contain liquid poo! I'd recommend trying a ME Rikki which is velcro fastening and you should be able to get a snug fit around the legs, or another type of wrap that is small enough!

what size wraps?
are they airflow (poppers) or rikki (velcro)?
dd needed xs wraps for a month or two

and to add to that... I've used motherease (onesize nappies and airflow wraps) on two children, and the poo doesn't often make to to the wrap, it really needs the nappy to contain it. The wrap is sort of more there to stop the wetness seeping out onto the clothes. So you might need to look at the actual nappies and how they're fitting (I know you say they seem great, but if the poo is leaking out then something's not quite right).
