My daughter has a serious peanut allergy. She can't eat peanuts or any types of nuts. She also cant eat anything that has been cooked in nut oil or may have come in contact with peanuts.

I also want to ask the questions as to whether they have peanuts or peanut oil in their kitchen.

What could they recommend off the menu that would be safe for my daughter.

It would be really useful for any spanish ingredients that I need to look out for on packaging when I am shopping for food.

Thank you in advance

ps. How would I say my daughter is having a serious allergic reaction, call for a amubulance.

I know this is alot to ask of someone but I haven't got a clue where to start with this and of course I am very anxious....

Thank you

if you don't speak Spanish, I would carry a card saying "Mi hija es extremadamente alergica a todos los frutos secos". Peanut alergies are a bit less common in Spain, so you can't guarantee the person in the restaurant is necessarily going to realize how dangerous this can be. You can have a look at www.tuotromedico.com/temas/alergia_a_frutos_secos.htm for a list of nuts in Spanish (about 1/2 way down the page)
