As the title says really! Baby is just shy of 6 months and we're doing baby led weaning, which she's really been going mad for (although what she's actually eaten will probably be very mminimal!). We've been doing this for about a week and in the last 2 days she's gone right off her milk (formula fed) - she's never been a particularly hungry baby, usually doing 5oz (the odd 6oz) at a time, but now will do no more than 3oz of a bottle. She seems very happy in herself, is still sleeping the same at night and plenty of wet nappies still (don't know how!).
Thanks in advance for any replies x

if you are giving her any protein, supplement that with water rather than milk, or very diluted orange juice. provided shes getting some form of regular liquids, it shoudl be fine, but perhaps have a quick chat with your HV to reassure you.

my ds2 rapidly went off his milk when i started weaning. I did the purée feeding though. I was concerned about his milk intake - especially as my older son was such a milk lover. She said that as long as he was getting 12oz in 24 hrs it was enough. Check out the recommended amount from your HV or google it.

My boys are nearly 3 and 6 yrs now and both love milk still
