DS1 8 very sensitive about sick

On Friday he was watching Horrible Histories and he just vomited absolutely everywhere, he said the lady on TV was pretending to be sick.

He's like this with sick, or even a hint of anyone being sick. He gets quite upset and ill about it, I try and distract him instatnly if anything like this happens.

Can I do anything about it?

dd2 (3.9) is like this, i have no idea what you can do about it really, all i can do with her is give cuddles
