Fussy eater getting fussier- advice please

Ds1 is 3.8yo and has always been quite fussy about what he'll eat but recently he's been rejecting food that was previously ok. Dinner time is particulary a problem - he'll eat pasta (either plain or with green pesto) and that's about it. Tonight we had lamb chops and roast potatoes which he has eaten and enjoyed in the last few months. He decided he was eating none of it and so went to bed having eaten nothing since lunch. Any suggestions on how to at least maintain the range of what he'll eat? Thanks.
