My DS (8) Is Doing My Head In!

He does not lack in attention, time to play outdoors/let off steam etc so 'cabin fever' is not the issue. He is just going through a effing annoying and frustrating stage and he is doing me head in!!!!!

Yesterday my younger two were doing Hama beads and were using the peg board things, one of which was a Xmas present to him the year before last but he was continually snatching it off of them, knocking the beads everywhere because "it is his board". No amount of rationalising (he has not used the blasted thigns for a year!).

No sooner do I walk out of a room then he is irritating his younger sister, frequently resorting in fisticuffs and her ending up crying. Of course brothers and sisters fight but it just makes me see red.

He has certain issues (will only eat certain things off of certain plates made by certain people, moans and fusses about everything, is almost OCD about healthy eating and germs). All those things I can cope with but I havelittle to no patience left for him being a little sod battering his sister.

Vent over.

PS. Yes, I have thought he may have Aspergers/Dyspraxia/other social/psychologicaldisorder but nothing has been flagged up by school/paediatrician etc and so he is 'just a bit eccentric'. That being said that has nothing to do with him being so blinking selfish and annoying at times!

you have mine aswell! not only that but he constantly has to be the first, the winner, the most important, in charge etc... and heaven forbid if anyone even BREATHS near his toys!

LOL!

Yes, they are infuriating but of course would not swap him for the moon on a stick.
