Anyone used a maxi cosi cabriofix seat in a honda jazz?

About to buy our first car seat and wondered if anyone had used the cabriofix seat in a Honda Jazz (2002). Have contacted Maxi cosi as well as I can't get their system to tell me if it's compatible or not. Wasn't sure where to post this so sorry if it's in totally the wrong place.

Are you using it with a base or just strapping in the seat with the seat belt?

Was hoping just to use with the seatbelt Purplecrazyhorse - why- does it fit one way but not another?

I use a Maxi Cosi cabriofix (with seatbelts) in my Jazz - its a 2007 model.

If you go to Mothercare they will fit it for you and tell you if it works or not - the Isofix wouldn't work on the next Maxi Cosi seat we got but seatbelts work fine.

thanks preggersplayspop, weird that it doesn't work with the isofix but I can't afford to buy one anyway. Will see if I can get it fitted.

Just an update - went to mothercare for a fitting with the cabriofix. With the seatbelt it was pretty loose. Then they tried with the base and that seemed better. I then contacted maxi cosi as the honda jazz was not listed as compatible with that base. They said that mothercare should never have fitted it on an unapproved car as they couldn't guarantee its safety. So now am back to square one. Waiting to see if the new maxi cosi seat (pebble) / base will be approved, if not will have to forget about the luxury of it fitting with our pram and go for a britax.
