Please can you recommend a good book as to how to help DS1 (who will be 2) cope with the arrival of his little brother.

It really hit me today that we probably should have somekind of plan instead of just assuming it will all be OK.

Many thanks

This came up on another thread recently. Here

Thankyou very much Lionstar, I will look into those, any recommendations for "grown-up" books for DH and I to read to help us do it right?

Oops, sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick! I don't know of a specific book about introducing siblings, but most books about toddlers will probably have a section.

No matter how smoothly it goes though you will have to expect some jealosy and competing for attention. Having some daily one-2-one time with the older one helps. NEVER leave them together unattended

Good Luck

Lionstar, it was really helpful to point me to the other thread, thankyou very much.

I was just also hoping for something to help DH and I do it "right"
