Please help to save my 10 month old DD from boredom stuck at home with me all day AGAIN...

Please give up your ideas for some structured play with her, she has had it with banging her toys together day after day while we are missing her usual playgroups due to snow.

She cannot crawl or stand independently yet, (but is trying). She rolls about and sits well, and will sit in high chair for up to 20-30 mins. Not sure if anything arts/crafts is wise as she still puts everything in her gob.

IDEAS PLEASE I am feeling so guilty for her!!!

Get in the bath with her and let her splash till the water gets cold and you turn to prunes (My DD loves this); put on a music/dance DVD and get the musical instruments out; Give her a big box or pillowcase full of cups/favourite toys/plastic boxes etc and let her load and unload; CBeebies. Dont feel guilty that you are in with her, it will not have a detrimental effect on her. Have a good day.

can you get together household items for a treasure basket

nice ideas, she has just gone down for nap so I can load up a treasure chest for when she wakes. and later on a chilly snow walk followed by warm bath together.... suddenly this is shaping up to be a nice day!
