Has anyone got real experience of attachement parenting?

I am currently BFing, co-sleeping and sling wearing all day.
How did you find this and what were the difficulties you faced?
How did you deal with naps in the day?
My DS2 won't let me sit down in the sling...

My daughter spends quite some time of the sling, but she is not in the sling all the time. We co sleep and breastfeed and have been attempting to elimination communication in a half hearted way. I haven't got the courage to ditch the nappies at eight months.

I am not an attachment pareting purist. I use a pram for longer journeys. I don't hold my baby all the time. She has a big brother who plays and amuses her. I don't think its is out of context of AP to have an older child play with the baby while I do chores.

My daughter naps wherever. She has lots of short cat naps rather than one long gina ford style nap. If I am desperate for her to sleep I will lie down beside her and then quietly get up while she sleeps. I often rub her back so she knows she is loved.

We also have a going to sleep routine. I play her some gentle music which helps her to relax. My daughter isn't breastfeed to sleep, but she doesn't cry herself to sleep either.

There are many ways of doing things and you have to find out what works for you.
