Edinburgh indoor play centres? can only find time twisters... any others recommended please?

There is a castle place at the Fort.

Molly's in Ocean Terminal.

The Commonwealth Pool is shut at the moment for renovation.

Craiglockhart sports centre have soft play - not massive, best for younger ones.

There was one at Musselburgh sports centre too - not been for ages.

One in the climbing centre at Ratho.

The one at the climbing arena in ratho is good because you can go on there too and look after the kids, the staff also seem intesested and observant. I also like play planet over the bridge - its pretty big and again you can go on with the kids. I dont raslly like the ones where your kids just disappear and you can't help them if they get stuck.

I was at the museum of scotland on Monday on chambers st, loads of stuff to do, interactive yadda yadda, dcs ran round like loons and (I like to think) instructive and educmacashunal too

The Ceramics Experience (which has now moved to beside Ocean Terminal) used to have a free ball-pool in its cafe - not sure if it still does but might be worth checking out. It was free (while you have a coffee) but was def for wee ones (up to about 5ish - no bells and whistles) - my two used to love it when they were tiny.

There was also one in Meadowbank (is that even still open?) plus one over in Restalrig - will try and remember the name of it.

The one in Restalrig is called Clown Around - just google it.

thanks all, we ended up going to ocean terminal, did a bit of shopping, lunch then molly's!!! kids had a great time a perfect day out for all!
