A question about door bouncers...

I have a lindam door bouncer which i got second hand so i don't have instructions.

How far from ground do i put it- ie should ds's legs be slightly bent, just touching floor? I have tried a few positions and he just likes to spin around! He is 4 months, maybe he just doesn't get bouncing yet!

We had one, and it was great. I think we had it as you describe - namely the DCs with slightly bent legs, just touching the floor. But maybe someone else will be able to give better advice? DS loved it and spent far too long in it; DD wasn't bothered...

They should have their toes just touching the ground so when they straighten their legs they bounce.

DD never bounced in hers she used it to chase the cat in and out the door!

IIRC it should be so that baby is on tiptoes with legs bent so that when they straighten their legs they "bounce".

However, a word of warning if you other siblings, do NOT leave baby unattended in the bouncer, they may "ping" baby up and down !! (not that i know from experience )

what oops said

My DS much preferred twirling round in his to bouncing - and became amazingly adept at it. Really funny to watch (he'd "spot" with his eyes, like ballet dancers do)

They are great-toes just touching floor-my dgs's favourite activity from 4 months to 9 months.

DS2 loved his but DS1 thought it was fun to "spin" him. also very good for giving the cat a crafty kick when she walked past
