My 15 week old ds had tummy bug last week (we all did)

He is still doing watery diarrhoea. Like water with scrambled egg in it! And he is being very sick. he is quite a sicky baby anyway, but this is loads more than usual. He seems happy enough in himself, although he is sleeping more than usual (he doesn't normally sleep well!!)

Is this normal- is it just gonna take a while for him to get over it?

I would be worried. Any change in sleep pattern is normally a cause for concern. He may still have the bug in his system. Take him to the Doctors and have him checked.

Most likely nothing but best to be sure.

Take him to the GP. You want to get this sorted now.

I hope he gets better soon and Happy first Christmas to him!

My DS has had this 3 times in his first year. A tummy bug followed by about 7-10 days of diarrhoea. Each time I took him to the doctors and each time they told me to keep him hydrated and just to wait. It's so worrying, but each time it did clear up by itself (he was never actually bothered by it). I was also told that sometimes babies can get a temporary milk intolerance after a bug. Now DS is older I will probably avoid milk if it happens again, but at 15 weeks you can't really do that. My GP did recommend giving him half or quarter strength milk for a while (though obviously not possible if he is bf).

Maybe best to take him to the GP and get them to check him over and make sure he's not dehydrated. Hope he gets well soon.
