why does my child hit/kick/winge only at me and not at dad??

2 1 /2 yea rold and even daddy now admits yes i get the rough end

and i dont even get the good end to go with it

today simply kicked me

yesy ht me for no reason when annoyed

That must be really upsetting. Are you the one that does the bulk of the childcare? Just thought that perhaps Dad is a novelty.

I am SAHM and my DD went through a phase of this. It was very hard not to take it personally and I found it upsetting, but with a bit of help from the naughty step she grew out of it.

Hope things improve for you soon.

It will pass, just be consistent and keep playing with him, lots of cuddles (even if begrudged).
I have been through this too, things are so much better now

Don't let him do it! Stop him every time.Get DP to back you up. He may be very little but he isn't too little to learn that you don't hurt others.
