my 2nd baby will be 4 weeks old on sat and she seems to have developed a cold, runny nose and cough, she is feeding ok but having to break away quite a lot because her nose is blocked but i'm paranoid she is going to develop bronchilitis (not sure if spelling is right!)two of my friends have had to have their babies admitted to hospital due to bronchilitis it seems to be rife i didn't even know about it when my son was a baby. i'm keeping a close eye on her, her breathing is fine but she does have a bit of a cough just hoping it doesn't settle on her chest.

If you think that your lo is having any difficulties breathing then please go to the doctor. They are usually more than happy to see an ill baby.

Tell-tale signs are loss of colour in face, dragging of skin between ribs, very fast breathing.

hope she gets well soon!
