hi, ds is 13 weeks old and for the last few days he constantly has his hands in his mouth and his cheeks are rosy...today he has had the runs. does this sound like teething? he also goes from smiling one minute to sobbing the next.

thanks in advance

Could be. Ds started teething about 2 days after colic ended. TOok him a while to get the actual teeth, and it dis come and go.

Sounds likely. They can have symptoms for a while before any teeth actually make an appearence though. DS2 had 1st tooth by 4 months !

hi yes our ds1 started at 13 weeks he is now 11 months old and has 11 teeth! stupid HV told me he couldn't be teething as he was too young silly old bint. We found anbesol worked a treat as we (DH) didnt want to use calpol until after 6 months. He may have no pain at all (some babies don't) good luck

im going to get anbesol coz iv used that (suffer from terrible mouth ulcers) i wont even approach my HV, shes useless, at 4 weeks i took him to GP and contacted HV 6 times in 1 week coz DS was projectile vomiting, they said he was a 'sicky baby'...turned out he had to have an operation for something called pyloric stenosis!

thanks for your advice, its much appreciated
