advice please

Hi there, DS2 is being bottle fed. I tried breastfeeding but after 2 weeks I stopped and now for the past 2 weeks DS2 has been bottlefed. Breast, bottle well he does not care. I am using tommee tippee bottles as that is what I used with DS1 (he was prem and needed a soft teet). My problem with DS2 is that a lot of the milk spills and therefore by the end of the feed we have gone through a bit, muslim square, tissues and sometimes I have to change him again. I am not sure why he is spilling so much. Could it be because he is sucking hard? Are the teets too soft? anyone else had this problems? Thanks

yes, we had the same thing with dd4, switched to avent for abit. sometimes baby needs to get used to the different sucking, because to get milk out of the breast requires hard work. he'll get it soon, just make sure u use teat number 1. i also used to make more formula becasue so much spilled out that she didnt get enough in one feed. hth
