Hi ladies

I'm trying to sell a couple of unused Bambino Mio newborn starter sets see here but without much luck (I bought them to use for my DS, washed a couple, then put them away and forgot all about them !!)

I've tried here and on ebay but nothing! Can anyone recommend anywhere else to try? It seems such a shame, I'm sure someone somewhere could make use of them!!

unfortunatly prefolds aren't very saleable these days.

You probably won't be able to sell them on tbh, but you could offer them on Freecycle/Greencycle (or whatever it is near you) or there are some charities that take them to send overseas I believe.

I don't think bambino mio are the most saleable, but you could try clothnappytree and thenappysite.co.uk as well as the for sale board here.

What price did you start them on ebay? Looking at the completed listings I think you may need to lower your prices for them to sell as the similar sets I found tended to get between £15-£30, but the one that went for 30 seemed to be the only one that reached that high. Bambino Mio are not as popular as they once were.

Also though I don't think now is a good time to be selling nappies on ebay. Everyone is too focused on Christmas so it might be better to wait a month or so and then put them back up.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

lol tutu .. I think the nappies you saw on ebay going for £30 odd were mine! But both ladies decided they didn't want them in the end!! To be fair the lady who was the highest bidder did email me immediately she'd bid to say she'd entered the wrong amount (she had a screeching new DS on her lap apparently) ... and the other didn't respond to a second chance offer. Maybe I could push it but I'm just not that way inclined!

I'll leave it until the new year and will maybe try the used nappy site.

Thanks again
