Upset I missed DDs ballet performance - tell me to stop being so silly...

DD (3) had her first ballet "perfomance" this morning and I missed it WAHHHH

I didn't realise it was today and DS was fast asleep when it was time to go, so I asked my sis who was visiting to take DD to her ballet class to save waking him.

Turns out this was the week when we could all go in and watch. Normally we have to sit in corridor outside and don't get to see a thing! Am gutted, if I'd known I would have bloody well woken DS and taken him. Or left sis with him and gone myself.

I am being irrationally disappointed about this. DH doesn't get it and has no sympathy, so I am telling people that might understand!

Thanks Ruby. Fortunately DD didn't seem to mind. Last thing I need it a guilt trip from her to add to my disappointment!

I managed to persuade her to re-enact the "show" this evening and it was so cute - made me even more sad to miss it all. Oh well I expect there will be many more things ahead.

There's a watching day every term for this sort of stuff, usually the last lesson. Only 2 or 3 months to the next one, don't despair.
