We're having a babysitter to look after my DD's this weekend for the first time in over a year. How much do you think I should pay her (she's a university student)?

I would guess £8 an hour -more after midnight,if you are later back than you said or if they are up when you leave.
Top up a bit if she interacts well with them etc
Have a great time

£5 an hour.

I don't pay £8 an hour for qualified agency sitters!

Where are you in the country ? I'm in the Midlands, and pay 5.00 an hour for a qualified babysitter
