What am I doing wrong? (night-time nappy advice needed)

Hi,

Hope someone can help!

I recently switched to disposables at night for DD (5 months) as she had started waking up soaked before morning, meaning not only a change of nappy, but clothes and sleeping bag too.

I really want to get her back in cloth as soon as possible so have recently bought some second hand Baby Beehinds for use at night.

Last night I tried one with a fleece wrap, but by morning she was damp underneath. When I changed her nappy I noticed the front of the nappy was still dry but the back of the nappy was wet, ditto the fleece wrap.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you using both the BBH snap-in boosters? If not, try using both with the bigger one flat from front to back lying over the smaller one. (I have a boy so I fold it to the front). If that's not enough try placing an extra booster between the nappy and the wrap (place it in the dampest zone at the back of the nappy rather than the front).

Good luck and good choice, BBH and fleece is a fab night-time combo.

I chose the BBH after reading a thread on here.

I am using both boosters. I could try folding the big one more towards the back. I guess I thought the wee would only soak through the fleece wrap once the nappy had absorbed all it could? Surprised to find part of the nappy was still dry
