1 yr old has a bit of a runny nose no temperature, should i bother heading out to the baby clinic this afternoon to wait an hour for his 1 yr jabs or should i wait until he is completely okay?

Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If no temperature I'm sure he will be fine. I took my DS for his one year jabs last week, and he'd been feeling ill with a nasty cold all week. Nurse just asked me if he had a temp or was taking any medication. I said no to both and she was fine to give him his jabs. I try not to cancel my jabs as around here it can take a very long time to get a new appointment .

thanks, thought so, our baby clinic doesn't have an appointment system for jabs... first come first serve and it's a bit of a cattle market getting in there!!

hoping because of the crap weather it won't be so busy today...

Personally I would never give a vaccination if a child is unwell. I think that if their immune system is busy it should be left to get on with it.

But that is just me.
