Xmas present ideas for super-bright 6 and 4 year old girls...?

Any ideas (postable as well)....trying to work out what to give my godchildren - I'm not in with that age group at all?!!

Do they like reading? My older two love books- the oldest devours them! You haven't mentioned whether they are boys or girls and what their interests have. Maybe construction toys- lego, etc or art things.
