Hi all

I was wondering if I could
ask a favour and allow this psot to be posted. AS part of my DEggree in
Business Management one module requires us go through the the process of
starting up a new Enterprise from the idea stage , to the actual starting up.
Part of this is the MArket Research that is needed to see if there is an actual
market for our chosen Enterprise.

I am currently at the Market REsearch stage, and would like as much help as
possible in getting questionnaiores answered, by the public to assertain if
there is a market for my chosen Enterprise.

The Mission of "Days Out For You" is to make a positive difference in the lives
of the less able, primarily through an Internet site detailing the
Accessibility, concessions and other features of places of interest that will
enable those who are planning days out for those with varying degrees of ability
to choose an excursion to suit their needs and abilities. By providing detailed
up-to-date information on an assortment of venues, places of interest and
leisure facilities the purpose of the Guide is to enable disabled people, their
families and carers to plan and enhance their excursions to the full.

Days Out For You are committed to ensuring that equality extends not only to the
severely disabled, and the work place but also to the leisure time; to people of
all levels of disability; that families can relax together and to help in taking
the dis' out of disabled.

The Purpose: to enable disabled people, their families and carers to plan and
enhance their excursions to the full

The Business: providing detailed up-to-date information on an assortment of
venues, places of interest and leisure facilities on a common portal of
information.

Values: committed, informative, up-to-date and accurate

For the purposes of this questionnaire the word disabled' is defined as those who have limited mobility, are visually and/or sound impaired, or suffer from the so called invisible' disabilities. I have also included those past
retirement age in this category as many, thought I accept not all, do have some
difficulty when it comes to finding appropraite locations for a day out.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to ascertain

  1. What the public look for when looking for a day out for the family/group with
varying levels of ability
  1. The sort of place that families/groups go to when choosing a day out and
where they would like to go, if it was more accessible.
  1. What concessions and services they feel should be available for the various
levels of accessibility
  1. Is there a market for a site such as what Days Out For You are Offering.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a confidential questionnaire and you are not required to give out any
personal information if you do not wish to. All information disclosed is purely
for Academic Marketing Research purposes only.

Should you wish to include your personal details, please add a note as to why
you are including it, for example, you may wish to be kept informed of the
progress of my project, or perhaps you would like to be notified when the
website is live. If this is the case under the DATA Protection Act 1998 we are
obliged to keep your information secure and use it only for the purpose you have
requested and we guarantee not to share your information with anyone, without
your prior consent and full knowledge.

Please read each question carefully and answer to the best of your ability. In
most cases you will only need to give a one word answer or a tick, but in others
a slightly longer reply may be required. Your feedback is highly appreciated.
The entire survey will not take you no longer than 5 minutes.

I need to send out at least 100 questionnaires inorder to get a sufficient
response. If you are interested in helping please can you send me an email with
either your email address or a mailing address where I can send the
questionnaire to. If you would like more than one please state so in your
request.

Many Thanks for your help and time.
