hi all, my 10 week old baby boy sweats when he sleeps. also sometimes his arms and legs feel clammy when he only has on a vest...i have seen the doctor and she says this is ok but due to them letting me down with him at 4 weeks which resulted in him needing an operation i am reluctant to believe them

can anyone give me any advice?

thanks in advance

Mine was a sweater at that age, and still is now. Just seems to cook himself when he's asleep. If the temp's good where he sleeps and you've got the right bedclothes on him, I wouldn't worry. But check that he's wearing cotton, and that the sheets/blanket etc are cotton, as the fabric will 'breathe' properly. HTH.

My now 5.5 month old charge is very sweaty too, mainly her feet poor bubba! The pediatrician has said there's no problems so we just put it down to bad luck for her. Luckily her feet don't smell (yet LOL) but she needs 2 pairs of socks a day as they get wet and clammy over a few hours. It's bizarre but nowt to worry about we've been told.
