sent off my UCAS form this week....dicided to go for it after all, midwifery at 50, now all I have to do is get a place!
anyone else in a similar sitch?

Not in a similar sitch (although I am a mature student), but want to wish you luck anyway shalli! When will you hear if you've got a place?

Not sure how long I'll have to wait. They told me when the interviews are (soon and a bit longer away) but not sure if my application will be in soon enough fo rthe first interviews...and they might not like the sound of me anyway....just have to wait with all digits crossed!
