have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

I did, Burchill.

katierocket · 27/06/2005 13:57

I think you're a worse mummy for spending so much time on MN

LGJ · 27/06/2005 13:58

Why are we still discussing this ?

It has been running so long, that surely both the boys have grown up and left home ???

PMSL at Harrietsmom. A whole two minutes! The baby will be damaged forever! Put it into care now!

Sax · 27/06/2005 14:06

Hijacking quickly - wheres Mrs GR - I'll have your hubby if you've walked out on him - could do with a damned good swearing sess!!!! Why the change LGJ? I liked the other name!

Blu · 27/06/2005 14:07

QoQ, you're such a part-timer.
I'm a bad-mummy NOW, and 4 days every week.

DS is 'dumped with strangers' a 15 minute drive away.

LGJ · 27/06/2005 14:12

As a Gemini, I reserve the right to operate two personalities

Sax · 27/06/2005 14:13

good answer!

LGJ · 27/06/2005 14:15

Should add, as long as I am honest about it

Blu · 27/06/2005 14:21

now I'm confused; what was LGJ's other name?

QueenOfQuotes · 27/06/2005 14:23

Katie - I agree definitely worse mummy for being on here

"that surely both the boys have grown up and left home ???"

LGJ - you're quite right - DS1 is now training to be a police officer, and DS2 a social worker - they were both so shocked by the incident they felt it only right they got jobs which helped stop it happenning to other children

"QoQ, you're such a part-timer.
I'm a bad-mummy NOW, and 4 days every week. "

I DO try - can't be as good as the rest of you you know

BLU

Over the weekend I morphed into Mrs Gordon Ramsay

JULIEBURCHILL · 27/06/2005 14:29

Parson's you sodding PUFF!! You've put me RIGHT off my stroke! I'll have your SAGGY ARSE FOR THIS!

Ladymuck · 27/06/2005 14:34

Blu,
Do you have to find someone new each day to dump your child with? If so, I think that yes, you probably do win the "bad mummy" of the week award.

WideWebWitch · 27/06/2005 14:43

pmsl at this thread, it's fantastic! Esp at 'Burchill' and 'Parsons'

CosmoLandesman · 27/06/2005 14:44

Oi, Julie! You ARE a Bad, Bad, mother! The Daily Mail said so, it must be true!

TonyParsons · 27/06/2005 14:46

Oh yeah? Like to see you try. You're a bad mother and you think you're a good writer, but I'm gonna prove I'm better than you, Groucho-girl.

lailag · 27/06/2005 14:49

just to say I once did the same when dd was unwell and finaly fell asleep. Left her on her own rather than waking her up again, and ds school is a bit further away than QoQ's school....
I thought the bit about taking deliberately a 2 y and a 4 y old to the loo was the funniest bit

JULIEBURCHILL · 27/06/2005 15:34

It's ABOUT time you two crippledicks paired up. Got someone to share your viagra COSMO??? WHAT A GOOD IDEA - Tony, that should be the plot of your next 'book'. Plays right to your demographic! I've more F'ing talent in my MIM than either of you bourgeois knackers can muster in your damp and spongy snotrags. I'm queen of the chavs, queen of the groucho, who need to be a good mother when I got YOU TWO LADYBOYS doing it for me!

And Tony, try not to put on your 'intelligent' face on the Late Review - it just looks like you need a CRAP.

Enid · 27/06/2005 15:49

madmarchhare · 27/06/2005 15:52

QueenOfQuotes · 27/06/2005 15:54

it's gone completely bonkers LOL

WigWamBam · 27/06/2005 15:58

I'm just wondering how long some of these perfect mothers spend on MN, and where their children are at the time ... because by the looks of it, it's more than two minutes.

madmarchhare · 27/06/2005 16:00

, mines still in bed . Havent even got his monitor switched on.

ClaireRibs · 27/06/2005 16:17

Ok Surely DS - stands for Dear son?? am i right. Ok therefore if they are dear to you, you should not be leaving them in the house unattended at any time. I think its awful!
