Come help me decide, carry on with the OU or full time uni - currently doing a maths degree.

So far have done the MU120, and doing the MST 121. (but only have 40 points banked so far) with OU.

I would like to do it full time at the local uni but worry with a) being able to afford it, and b) the stress of doing that as well - althou it can't be worse than I currently have - working 27.5 hours a week plus the courses plus being a lone parent.

What would I gain money wise to go to uni full time? (it would be next sept and DS would be at school by then so wouldn't nec. need child care.

Ultimatly I want to be a maths teacher. Help!

(do I even have enough points to go straight into uni - will have 60 by the time this one has finished. and good grades at GCSE level.)

Unless your part time job pays very well, you may find yourself better off as a full time student.

Lone parents get a lot of financial help whilst at uni.
