anyone else a wkend wife and find it hard sometimes.....

ive got two young children and dh is away during the week. Im finding it increasingly hard being on my own with the kids. I feel i have no life without them during the week and then when dh is home im expected to have family time with them when really all i want is for dh to take them off my hands but then he moans that we arent spending enough time together grrrrrr.

Hello there, not weekend wife but there are elements of how I feel in what you say. dh works long hours and often evenings and I really relate to wanting them off my hands at the weekend when dh wants space and time too. I internally scream (and occasionally externally too) with wanting time away from the children who I love and chose to be with. Obviously must be multiplied up by actually being away. So thinking of you and hope that helps a tiny bit.
