HELP my boys - 7 months, 2 yrs and 3 yrs all have runny noses and horrible chesty coughs. what can i do to help them?

particularly my 7 month old who i can hear spluttering in bed as i type. anyone know of any good medicines i can try herbal or not?

Have you tried raising cot at their head- yellow pages/rolled up towel under mattress?

Took dd1 who is 2 to doctor with same he said it's the 'typical winter virus' and advised hot drinks, taking her into steamy bathroom as many times a day as possible, keeping her in the warm as much as poss and calpol.

Also have a calpol vapour plug thing which seems to work well.
