5yr old constant tantrums driving us mad!

Our 5 year old just constantly has tantrums. We have tried sticker charts, time out, and it still doesnt seem to stop her from shouting the odds and freaking out with tantrums when ever she feels like it.

If we ask her to anything its a hassle.

The worst is at night, where she wont go to bed, and will literally jump up and down banging and shouting (god knows what the neighbours think!)

It seems she has no respect for our rules atall at the moment!

Trying to be positive with her and praise the good etc, but its wearing us down.

Any ideas will be great, thanks

has she just started school this year?

No, she is year 1. She has been like this since she turned 5 which was june, but we also had a loss in the family where we lost our pet and not sure if it is relating to that or not, she is certainly more clingy and dominant.

Sorry if my original message is duplicating.
